PINCH ME!!!! I cannot believe we are finally here. Seriously. Cannot believe it. We have been working toward this for SO long ... I can't be-LIEVE it! Neither one of us still completely understands that we are about to get our baby girl tomorrow. Everything has been so fast-paced, I don't think we've had time to let it sink in! I am just not sure when we will actually understand that we are so close to becoming a family of 5! In just 10 hours, we will hold Sunshine in our arms. She will no longer be a picture ... a figment of our imagination. She will be a REAL child. OUR child. God is SO GOOD!
Isn't our room fantastic? This is a fairly new hotel, and the accomodations are really wonderful!
Our baby girl will be laying in that bed TOMORROW NIGHT!

Sooooo the next time I blog, we will have Sunshine! I'm not sure exactly when I will be able to get to the computer - we get her at 11am (that's Monday night at 11pm in the US eastern time) and then have a civial affairs appointment at 3pm for paperwork. It will be a very busy day! I'm heading out in the morning to the grocery store with our guide for formula and diapers. Holy cow - formula and diapers!!!! This is REALLY happening and we are less than 24 hours away! Please continue to pray for us - but especially for Sunshine's comfort and peace during this difficult time for her.

ReplyDeleteWe stayed at the same hotel when we received our daughter in Jan. of 2007. It is beautiful and they do take good care of you. Have you made the treck to Walmart yet? My husband felt like he was playing frogger when several of the guys went together. :) So glad you have your daughter and she's adjusting so well. Loving following your journey and we're indeed praying for you.
