Food!

We have been eating SO well since we've been here! This place was lunch after the Forbidden City. I don't know the name of it, but it is very famous in Beijing for noodles.

Here's the picture menu we ordered from - I had noodles with eggplant and peppers (bottom middle on the right side). DH ordered something spicy I think? The food was delish!

We went with American after the Great Wall adventure - Pizza Hut! Yay, my favorite!

Seriously, I know you're jealous - how scrumptious does this look?! DH says he likes it better than at home!

Ok, the story of this guy is absolutely hysterical ... he was our driver all day for our sightseeing. Really, really cool guy - he didn't speak much English but he sure did try. We learned a little Chinese from him too. So at some point during the day, he told DH that he is the most handsome American man he had ever seen. LOL. Like he was seriously gushing over how "handsome" he was. It was so funny! He told DH that he should be in "I love you" movies ... LOL. Even our guide cracked up when he said that! He liked DH so much, he asked Lisa to take a picture of them together on his cell phone.

And then as he was dropping us off at the hotel, he pulled this gift out of his trunk for DH - it's a tray for your car (so things don't fall when you put them somewhere) in the shape of China. We will ALWAYS remember this guy - what a fun dude!
