This was SOOOOO FUN!!!!!!! The Pearl Market is kind of like a big department store, but with tons of different vendors set up to sell everything you could ever think of. See the Canon shops below????
Fortunately, I was given GREAT information by my friend, Kelly, about what shops to go to. We went to Lisa's shop for the jewelry we wanted to buy (Lisa is in the blue dress)
Here's her shop - she is really WONDERFUL! Her English was fantastic and she was great at converting the Yuan to US dollars for us for comarison.
You can see Lisa is uber-preggo - she is due with her first, a son, next month! GOOD LUCK LISA!
You can see Lisa here adding up the cost of all of our China treasures - we bought a ton of beautiful goodies - you can see all of it in that black tray next to her left hand. The difficult part was figuring out how to pack it!
Here is another store below that I bought some pandora charms at for 1 Yuan a piece, holy cow!
The Pearl Market was a BLAST! We were in Lisa's shop for about an hour - we picked which pieces we wanted and they added the clasps for us there and even made some earrings for us while we waited! It is easy to see why Kelly and her parents recommend Lisa - I loved her!
