Love Without Boundaries and Doritoes

I just love his messy faces!!

On another, more serious and really exciting note, I got word earlier today the Love Without Boundaries is going to donate cleft bottles to Sunshine's orphanage on our behalf!!! LWB has an orphanage assistance program and one of the things they can do is donate cleft bottles to orphanages in need. Interestingly though, most SWI's (Social Welfare Institutes = orphanages) don't know about this program and therefore don't know to request bottles. Anyone can request them to be donated though! If you know of parents who are looking to get cleft bottles to their kiddos in China - please, please, please tell them to contact LWB and request they be donated! They didn't hesitate with me, and the bottles will even be given in our daughter's name by us. How cool is that?! The contact email is orphanage.assistance@lwbmail.com.

This was SUCH a huge answer to prayers and searching for me! I have been trying and trying to find a way to get cleft bottles to Sunshine and I finally can be at peace on this - I am so grateful for this program! HERE is information about donating toward cleft bottles, if you feel moved to do so. So, so happy that I stumbled across this in a late-night google search. Yay for seemingly aimless websurfing!

  2. I am the Orphanage Assistance Director and just wanted to mention that that blog entry is an older one and we are now taking donations again for cleft bottles at:

    http://www.lovewithoutboundaries.com/orphanage_assistance_special_projects_detail.cfm?category=116&equipment_id=19

We are in good shape right now, but if we are lucky enough to send out a bunch of bottles, the time would come that we might be in need again. Any amount can be donated. THe bottles are about $2 a piece. We buy them in the US and get couriers to take them to China and then our China director sends them where they need to go!
