Snow Day

This is quite atypical, but I am not posting a snow picture on a Snow Day. How fun are these two?! They piled all of their blankets, pillows, loveys and um, beanbags (LOL) into Lovebug's crib and sat in there and played. I just LOVE watching & listening to their imaginations run wild when they're at home together. They fight like any other brother/sister combo, but these really awesome times far outweigh the fighting times. Man they're awesome.

PS - YES, Lovebug is still in a crib. LOL. He never crawled or fell out, so we left him in there. He's getting a big boy bed this month though :-( Although I know the time is way overdue, I can't help but be very sad about this. I love this Ikea crib and it has served us very well over the last 5 1/2 years. And actually, we picked it up for $49 (I think) because it was a floor model. Score!

At least I'll have another baby to put in the crib soon enough ... please pray that Sunshine is being loved by someone out there!

Punky Brewster?

I don't know, she just may be able to pull off the next Punk Brewster look-a-like ... Angel has an ... ummm ... interesting and super-adorable fashion sense. Most of the time she cracks me up when she comes out of her room and I make her go back upstairs and change into something that matches. Maybe I'll stop making her "match" so much and go with the flow a little more ... maybe her fashion sense is the next new trend?

Angel begged to go to dinner in this outfit and I finally caved and let her. LOL. This ensemble along with her light-up Twinkle Toes definitely rocked at dinner tonight. I told her she could wear it if I took her picture and this is how she posed. Is it just me or does she look kind of old and grown up?! Doesn't that mean that I'm old too?

Love Without Boundaries and Doritoes

I just love his messy faces!!

On another, more serious and really exciting note, I got word earlier today the Love Without Boundaries is going to donate cleft bottles to Sunshine's orphanage on our behalf!!! LWB has an orphanage assistance program and one of the things they can do is donate cleft bottles to orphanages in need. Interestingly though, most SWI's (Social Welfare Institutes = orphanages) don't know about this program and therefore don't know to request bottles. Anyone can request them to be donated though! If you know of parents who are looking to get cleft bottles to their kiddos in China - please, please, please tell them to contact LWB and request they be donated! They didn't hesitate with me, and the bottles will even be given in our daughter's name by us. How cool is that?! The contact email is orphanage.assistance@lwbmail.com.

This was SUCH a huge answer to prayers and searching for me! I have been trying and trying to find a way to get cleft bottles to Sunshine and I finally can be at peace on this - I am so grateful for this program! HERE is information about donating toward cleft bottles, if you feel moved to do so. So, so happy that I stumbled across this in a late-night google search. Yay for seemingly aimless websurfing!

Lovebug, Lovebug and more Lovebug!

Here's the rest of them! What a fun 10 minutes this was! LOL. I just adore this little guy ... *SUCH* a ham he is!

Little impromptu session with Lovebug

I have to run to get Angel from school, but I just *had* to post this one of Lovebug. We did a mini-session in the Living Room (because I've been a bad mommy and haven't taken enough pictures of him!). He goes against everything I know of photographer's kiddos ... he is the EASIEST (yes, I said easiest) 3-year-old I've every photographed. And of course, it's even more fun because he's mine :-)

I have a gajillion more to go through, but this one caught my eye :-)
